The Pennsylvania Health Care Association (PHCA) is a professional trade organization representing the long term care community in Pennsylvania, and providing information to families and individuals in need of long term care. Specifically, PHCA represents more than 300 for-profit as well as not-for-profit nursing facilities, personal care homes (also referred to as assisted living facilities), and continuing care retirement communities. Other members of PHCA include businesses that provide services to the long term care provider and the residents they serve, such as pharmacies, rehabilitation consultants, housekeeping services, accountants and architects.
